It smelt so good when they were cooking.

It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be.

My groceries came. I can cook now!!!

Because I’m a tourist!!!

I had fun today going out all by myself to get a cell phone that works in this country. Finally.

My little cousin asked me to get her a shot glass so I figured now would be the best time to do that whole tourist thing.

Churchill Square is my kind of town! I love the city vibe and all the shopping/food areas.

I know I’m suppose to embrace a new culture, but I could not help myself when I saw Burger King! Yumm….

YAY I AM AWAY

This was nasty. Just saying.

I almost missed my bus back to campus because of this.

Went into Brighton today to get a cell phone.

No luck. So many places here close early : (

However I did manage to get a flat iron and an adapter. FINALLY!!!

I saw this little restaurant. I love name.

Interesting name…

YUMMM!!

I wish I wrote down or took a picture of this restaurant that I went to. All I know is it’s located in Chichester, England.

Anyway this was the best panini I ever had. Just regular old ham and cheddar, but it was so good though!

Then there was the millionaire shortbread. LOVED IT.

YAY I AM AWAY

My first meal in England!

So I had such a long and hungry day arriving to campus on Monday. First of all I had to haul my bags to my apartment becuse I missed the meet and greet day : (

Once I reached and caught my breath I started looking for things to do. I saw a trip to the supermarket and was like “YES!”

It was around 3pm when we arrived at the supermarket. As I normally do I statred to shop and ended at the cash register. Little did I know I forgot my bank card back in my room. Not cool. The last time I ate was on the plane around 6am.

Anyway in disappointment, starvation, no phone, and internet access. I was happy being in England regardless!

I tried to buy the Echo Falls California White Zinfandel, in the picture above, two times before actually getting it.

First time was at the supermarket and we know how that went. The second was on campus. I had my card, but they wouldn’t accept my US drivers license. They wanted my passport; which I thought was safer in my room.

The third time is a charm. I was like YAY! I got it this time. NOPE. “We don’t take cards. Only cash.” Luckily there was an ATM near by!

Can’t say that I am a fan of this drink though. I think God was looking out for me. This bottle is soooo much smaller compared to the huge one I picked up at the supermarket.

I was so full for whatever reason I couldn’t finish my pasta. I thought I was going to devour it since it was around 7pm when I ate. Not that I have never skipped meals before, but I just felt super hungry.

Anyway I enjoyed my meal and I was finally stuffed!
